I did a small trim on my friends list. Absolutely nothing personal; it was just getting a bit unwieldy for me. I hope no one is upset. My journal remains 98% public, so anyone is free to continue to read & comment.

What is this post? Honestly, I'm not even sure. It started out as one thing in my head, something I had a sudden and strong compulsion to write about, and as I started, it just kept branching and growing and took on a life of its own.
